Thomas Axsom wins his fourth straight in the SD Ireland Cancer Research Fund Late Model Shootout Series!
Axsom led every lap of the Shockeye12 Racing 125 at the Irwindale Speedway Inner layout to take his fourth straight victory of the season and continue his points lead in the standings.

Dylan Bates picked up the International Short Track Association Quick Time award earning a valuable five bonus points in the series standings. Bates then finished 2nd in the feature event to outscore race winner Axsom to close the gap in the series standings to just 8 points.
Cole Cabre charged from his 20th starting position to finish behind Bates in third. Cabre gained 17th positions after having to earn his way in through the evening’s B-main.

Daniel Pope II finished fourth while Brett Suggs rounded out the top five finishers. Suggs was the winner of the evening’s b-main and rallied from a 17th starting position to pick up his fifth top five of the year.

The SD Ireland Cancer Research Fund Late Model Shootout Series returns for round number seven next Monday night with the Elite Performance Industries 80 from Richmond Raceway!
