Alex McCollum wins Revelry Racing 100 for second straight victory

Alex McCollum goes back to back, as he wins at Myrtle Beach Speedway in the SD Ireland Cancer Research Fund Revelry Racing 100!

It wouldn’t be easy for Alex. He would qualify 3rd, but with the invert would roll off the starting grid in 5th. McCollum would take his time and would watch a great battle for the lead between Christian Pedersen and Landon Huffman. McCollum would benefit from three leaders making contact and would grab the lead on lap 41 after the smoke cleared.

McCollum would remain almost unchallenged as he would lead the remaining laps on his way to his 2nd win of the season!

Following McCollum to the line was Hugo Paquet in 2nd, Ethan Johnson in 3rd, Blaidyn Edwards in 4th, and Jordan Harnish in 5th.

Cole Cabre, Christian Pedersen, Thomas Axsom, Landon Huffman, and Dylan Bates rounded out the top 10.

With the 2nd drop week being implemented, the points standings have tightened up for the last 3rd of the season. Thomas Axsom continues to lead the points with Cole Cabre moving into 2nd place, 7 pts behind. Dylan Bates drops to 3rd, 13 markers out. Christian Pedersen sits 4th with Hugo Paquet in 5th. The battle for the championship is going to be exciting over the final 3 weeks!

Next week the series heads to North Wilkesboro for 100 laps in the Lone Star Espeed Shop 100!
