Huffman nabs win in his ITZR debut!

Landon Huffman gets it done in his first ever ITZR start in the SD Ireland Cancer Research Fund Celebrity’s Hotdogs 125 at Hickory Motor Speedway!

Brett Suggs would start on the pole after qualifying 7th and would dominate the event, leading 129 laps. Suggs had thwarted all challengers all night long including many from another newcomer to the series, Cole Cabre. Suggs would hold the lead until the final restart when Huffman would pose his final challenge.

Huffman had started in 5th after the invert, but would battle in the top 5 all night long. He had taken his shot at Suggs on earlier restarts, but had never been able to pass him. On the final green/white/checkered, Huffman drove the wheels off the #75 machine and would clear Suggs down the backstretch on the final lap and would grab his first ITZR win!

Following Huffman to the line was Suggs in 2nd, Ryan Matthews in 3rd, Thomas Axsom in 4th and Dylan Bates in 5th.

Blaidyn Edwards, Kyle Martinson, Christian Pedersen, Chad Miller and AJ Rogers rounded out the top 10.

Jeremy Brooks was the winner of tonight’s B Main.
