Ethan Johnson wins his 3rd LMCS race of the season in the Lone Star Espeed Shop 100!

Ethan Johnson gets it done after some late-race drama in the County Road Custom Millwork Late Model Challenger Series Lone Star Espeed Shop 100 at North Wilkesboro!

Johnson would take the lead from early race leader LP Lauzier on lap 36 and would hold off a challenge from newcomer Colt Howell until Howell would take the lead away on lap 103. Johnson would get back to the inside of Howell on the final GWC, and the two would get close enough to cause a netcode issue, causing Howell to spin. Johnson would go on to win with Howell falling to 14th in the end.

Following Johnson to the line was Ean Martin in 2nd, LP Lauzier in 3rd, Felix Gratton in 4th, and Ryan Dunkleberger in 5th.

Del Mears, Rick Roob, Grant Brown, Jonathan Sanford, and Angel Ortega rounded out the top 10.

Ethan Johnson was the winner of the Christian Iracers Quick Time Award on the night.

3 drivers shared the Hard Charger Award on the night, all picking up 14 spots during the race. Those three drivers were Del Mears, who went from 20th to 6th, Angel Ortega, who ran from 24th to 10th, and Kade Greene, who ran from 25th to 11th!

The night’s B-Main was won by Grant Brown, in his first night with the series.

In the points standings Ethan Johnson takes the points lead with LP Lauzier 8 pts back, Ean Martin 9 pts out, Jordan Harnish 10 pts behind, and Luke Baldwin 37 pts out in 5th.

Next week the series heads to Langley for the LaDuke-Matthews Racing 125!
