Thomas Axsom Wins The Maconi Setup Shop 125!

Thomas Axsom gets it done for the third week in a row in the Maconi Setup Shop LLC 125 at Stafford in the SD Ireland Cancer Research Fund Late Model Shootout Series!

Axsom swept the night as he also set the International Short Track Association Fast Time, and as a result, would have to start 9th after the invert.

Axsom would work his way up to 3rd until a late-race incident involving lapped cars collected leader Cole Cabre and 2nd place runner Christian Pedersen. The aftermath would find Axsom running in the top spot again.

Axsom would hold off a challenge from Cabre in the end and pick up his 3rd straight win!

Following Axsom to the line was Cabre in 2nd, Dylan Bates in 3rd, Pedersen in 4th, and Brett Suggs in 5th.

Daniel Pope II, Kyle Martinson, AJ Rogers, Aaron Abendroth, and Hugo Paquet rounded out the top 10.

Next week the series heads to Irwindale Inner for the Shockeye12 Racing 125!
